Matt and Lily are tying the knot
As summer fades into fall, we’ll be getting married on the shores of Lake Michigan –
a place that’s special to us both.
a place that’s special to us both.
Over the course of the weekend, we hope you'll discover new moments to cherish here: whether it’s the soft air and gentle breeze rustling through the dune grass, the monarch butterflies dancing in the afternoon light, the bursts of yellow goldenrod, or the crystal-clear water, warmed by the last days of summer. We can’t wait to be in this beautiful place with our closest family and friends.
When’s the big day?
Please join us for Labor Day Weekend 2025 – August 30th to September 1st.
Where will the wedding bells ring?
At Anchor Inn, a beautifully restored inn just outside of Traverse City in Northern Michigan.
Where can we rest our heads?
There’s plenty of room at the
inn for everyone – we’d love to have you stay with us for the whole weekend.
What should we wear?
Think sun-kissed flowers, wide open skies and golden hour on the lake – flowy dresses, summer suits, and whatever makes you feel your best.
Our home for the weekend
Tucked away behind towering pine trees and nestled next to an apple orchard, Anchor Inn has 13 private cabins. The lawn is perfect for dozing in the August sun or stargazing by the fire pit, warmed by late-night bonfires. We’ll have a private beach with a dock, kayaks for exploring, and plenty of trails for hiking through the surroundings.
A beautiful coincidence
Lily’s parents stayed
at the inn in 1990.
